Summary
Originally broadcast to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Doctor Who in 1983, The Five Doctors was a 1 1/2 hour Special starring Peter Davison with Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee and Richard Hurndall. A time scoop is bringing the various incarnations of the Doctor as well as some old friends and old enemies-Daleks, Cybermen, Yeti, even the Master-to the Death Zone of Gallifrey, while the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) is trapped in the time vortex. This edition is the first to include both the broadcast and enhanced versions. Extras include audio commentary tracks, reminiscences of the 20th Anniversary celebrations, behind-the-scenes with four Doctors, and much more. Digitally remastered picture and sound quality.
