Around the turn of the 20th century, the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) and Leela seek shelter at the lighthouse on Fang Rock, a small island off the English coast. As bad luck would have it, they also share the island with an alien Rutan whose spaceship has just crashed into the sea. Changing its form, killing at will and inhabiting the bodies of its victims, the Rutan thwarts the Doctor's attacks by reverting to its natural form as an amorphous jelly. Meanwhile, the Rutan mothership approaches the island, intending no good. What now? One of the scariest Doctor Who episodes ever filmed, now digitally remastered and loaded with special features from the BBC archives.
