Dear David,
No, I never met Anne Widdecombe, but somebody told me she was a keen though not very good dancer. Then I heard she was in a dancing competition and that people laughed at her. I thought, I would like to have been her partner and I could have taken some of the blame. How I wish I could dance. So many unfulfilled ambitions! I wish I was not so tall, I wish I had big eyebrows, I wish....
Enough of my regrets, the list is long, very long.
