Love the way the robot was destroyed at the end, by Tom throwing that red
liquid at it. It just kept shrinking, and shrinking and shrinking. And the funny
noise it made as it was shrinking.

"The Key To Time" box set...as a tribute to Mary Tamm. It's one of my favourite years for Who, 6 brilliant stories, especially "The Stones Of Blood".

Let's hope 2 Entertain release the last 2 Tom stories onto dvd asap!

Robot was one of the first I'd seen on a PBS feed from Buffalo, NY, which we were able to
view. I thought they'd done an impressive job on the robot costume itself. And yes, it
did certainly have its humourous moments.

Forgot to mention that Doctor Who was also shown on TVO or TVOntario in the
early 70's to early 80's.

I've watched "The Ribos Operation" and "The Pirate Planet" in the last couple of days and will go through the rest of the "Key To Time" series in due course.

Romana was the first female in Who to show the Doctor how to land the TARDIS properly....and she did it so much better than River.

As of today, I'd watched all of Tom's DW stories on the VHS copies that I currently own.
Collected almost all of his stories in the late 90's. The Brain of Morbius was the
first one I had purchased.

Today I'll be watching the "City of death". An absolute classic in my mind!

Tomorrow night, I'll be checking out "Creature from the pit".
Recall the lady villain in it being very pretty.

I just recently bouth 'The Face of Evil' and the Special Edition of 'The Robots of Death' and plan on watching them soon. Has anybody else got these two dvds? I know they have been out for a good while, but I only managed to get them the other night.

Yeah, they're wonderful. Full of superb special features. I've got all of Tom's stories released on DVD so far. Now I'm just waiting for "Shada" in the boxset and "Terror Of the Zygons". That boxset will also be featuring "More Than 30 Years in the Tardis" which I consider to be the definitive documentary on Classic Doctor Who. Definitely a buy, in my view.

Ys, I will be getting the Shada boxset with the documentary as I loved it when I saw it on casette all those years ago now, and would like to see it again.
As for topic question, I watched Logopolis the most recent. Still have to hold my mum's hand as he falls to his regeneration, not a dry eye in the room!
