Which Episodes Have You Watched Recently?

A new topic for the fans. Pretty self-explanatory. Which episodes of Doctor Who starring Tom Baker have you seen lately? :)

Last one I watched was 'City of Death'.

Fun romp. Very clever dialogue and nice blend of comedy, mystery and wonky sci-fi ideas.
Funny to watch all the long 'running through the city' scenes that were filmed to justify the coast of filming in Paris.

Meant to say 'the cost of filming in Paris'.

Shouldn't post when I'm tired. my spelling gets worse than usual.

I've doing the old Pertwee stories recent. Last Tom one was probably The Seeds of Doom. I keep meaning to dig out Genesis -- haven't watched that for years.

Been watching Genesis of the Daleks with my mum. I consider it to be the essential Tom Baker story. I am up to Part Three with the cliffhanger reprise of lovely Lis Sladen falling off the Thal rocket to her apparent doom. Genesis is such a classic story and the apparent start to the Time War that haunts the Doctor in his early adventures in the new series. Harry Sullivan is a real plus as well, and he, the Doctor and Sarah Jane get on great.

Me too. One of the best ever. Don't forget the wonderful portrayals of Davros, Nyder and others. The incidental music for the Daleks was great, too!

The Robots Of Death -easily one of Tom's top 5 stories. A wonderful build up of suspense, with an excellently realised environment and great characters. I never tire of this one.

"Brain Of Morbius" is my personal fave. I've seen that one countless times and the atmosphere is helped by watching it late at night.

I would say that "Genesis of the Daleks" is not only the essential Tom story but the absolute best Doctor Who story, period.

I own almost all of Tom's Doctor Who stories on VHS cassette tape, most of
which I bought in the mid to late 90's.

A couple of nights ago, I popped in Tom's first story "Robot". The next night, the
Ark In Space.

I recalled that humourous part, where the robot is coming after Tom in
Professor Kettlewell's home, and he tries to trip it up with throwing some ball
bearings down on the floor.

Yes, I have to wonder if the Doctor had a plan going into that one!
