:D well we are half way though the year so wheres it gone it gone that quick .its a new month and hope all of you are well and the weather will start to get better so has any one got any plans for this month

I'm wondering the same thing, Tracy: where has it all gone. Seems like just last week we were wishing the snow would go away and now it's feeling like the snow is just around the corner once again!

Today is Canada's birthday and here in Ottawa there's a big party going on all day long. There are events for the kids all over the city and a huge concert on Parliament Hill which starts in the afternoon and goes until dark when the big fireworks display goes off behind the Parliament buildings. The suburbs are empty and the city centre is so full of people that you can hardly crawl thru the crowds.

At least our weather is cooperating with the day -- we've been pretty lucky that way compared with you folks in England and the awful rains you've been experiencing around the country.
