I know it's not Tom-era, but sad to see Caroline John (Liz Shaw) passed away.

She only appeared briefly but made a big impression during her short stint.

Very sad.
I always liked Liz Shaw as a companion. Her straight forward tolerant air was a great balance to Jon Pertwee's Doctor.

I think it is indicative as to the high regard all Who Allumni are held with by all at Tom's table, especially as Tom has recently worked with Carrie's husband Geoffrey Beevers.

So I add my voice - RIP Carrie - you will be missed...
The Doctor: I tell you, Brigadier, there's nothing to worry about! The brontosarus is large and placid!
Harry Sullivan: (to the Brigadier) This the patient, sir?
The Doctor: (looking up at Harry) And stupid!
