‘Space 1999’ was one of the popular science fiction series during your 70’s ‘Doctor Who’ heyday. Can you ever recall watching it?

Dear Philip,
I didn't watch Doctor Who when I was in it. I sometimes look at big rugby games on TV, that's about all. So when I attend sci fi events I am embarrassed at not knowing most of the actors and I feel a bit sad I can't answer the questions from the fans. I'm so sorry! There I go again.
