Questions about whether Tom will appear at a convention or in a particular programme or film are wasted questions as he cannot talk about any offers in advance, and the moment agreement is reached, he announces the news on his website.

Hello Mr. Baker,
Thank you for this privilege. As a child you were my hero portraying the 4th Doctor on Doctor Who. I lost interest in the show after you left as i couldnt imagine anyone but you as The Doctor. I am now introducing the world of the 4th Doctor to my own children- much to their delight- and mine as I recall all of your great adventures.
My question is, do you think you will ever reprise the role of Dr. Who in any form? Thank you for expanding our imaginations and dreams.

Dear John McCarthy,
Reincarnation? Oh, I think not. But perhaps there will come a story that leads back to Gallifrey where, after hundreds of years I am still being DEBRIEFED? That might lead somewhere. I don't watch TV so I have no idea what the present series is like. All I know is that it was the loveliest Job I ever had.
I'm so delighted to get your happy message.
Kind wishes
from old Tom
