In a couple of weeks I will be 29 years old and since leaving university in 2005 I have yet to fulfill my ambition to go into creative writing for film and TV. So some guidance about script-writing from an actor's P.O.V. would be most appreciated. What kind of dialogue (in any genre) keeps you entertained the most?
My writing style is normally imaginative but I also like to incorporate as much humour as possible. I'm currently stuck in a bit of a rut working day-to-day doing data entry processing. Unloved by my colleagues who don't see my real creative talent and stuck in a soulless job that I never wanted to do, and I feel I can do so much more.
It's nice to speak to you again and hope you are well. How cool and weird it was hearing you say both 'Mario' and 'Sonic' on the Mario & Sonic London Olympics ad. Now all I need is to hear you say the words 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' and I'll be totally geeked out!
As always best wishes and kindest regards,
Pedro Ferreira
