The Doctor as a Mummy in Pyramids of Mars

Postby Wonkakid on March 2nd, 2012, 7:35 pm

Hello again Tom. Hope all is well. Please pass the salt ;-).

I watched Pyramids of Mars a few nights ago. At some point, the Doctor dresses as one of the robot mummies in order to place a package of gelignite on Sutek's war rocket. My question is this: was that you in the mummy wrap or was it someone else? If it was you, did you speak your lines at that time or were they recorded later?

Best,

Rob

Dear Rob in Chicago,

I was in the Mummy suit because the director, Paddy Russell disliked me intensely.

Many directors died after working with me. In fact, I can only think of one director who survived.
