I've always enjoyed Peter Cushing and Tom's portrayal of the role myself.

As a mega fan of both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Who I always felt there was a similarity between The Doctor and the great detective. I believe Tom Baker agrees. I have used both during the years I served as a classroom teacher and Tom was my teaching partner. I would love to thank him for that.

Has anybody amongst the Elite here seen Tom as Sherlock Holmes in either The Mask of Moriarty or The Hound of the Baskervilles?

Cool, tracy! How many times have you seen it, and what do you think of the plot?
I did a book report on the original novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in the late 80s or early 90s when at school. :D
