Dear Tom,
You have mentioned many of the "glass half empty"aspects of growing older. Aside from the (deadly) alternative, are there any positives that you have found to growing older?

As I grow older and older, I am filled with dread. Life is so short and time so precious and mysterious. We have so little of it before pop goes the weasel!
Average life: less than a thousand months; less one third for sleep! Four thousand weeks, max! About 28,000 days. About two point five billion seconds.
Look, I won't go, I simply don't have the time.
