What are you currently listening to in terms of music?

Postby Marcello Cristiano on March 23rd, 2010, 4:10 am

Here's a list of CD's I'm currently listening to in my stereo:

-Garbage (1995)
-Garbage-Version 2.0 (1998)
-Beautiful Garbage (2001)
-Garbage-Bleed Like Me (2005)
-Absolute Garbage (2007)
-Angelfish(1993-Shirley Manson's band previous to Garbage)

As you can tell I love Garbage!!! SHIRLEY MANSON(who hails from Edinburgh, Scotland) is my favourite female singer of all-time!!! SHE ROCKS!!!!

Also, I'm listening to Elliott Smith's album: Figure 8 (2000) GREAT ALBUM!!! ALL 16 TRACKS ARE SENSATIONAL!!!

As well, and as usual, I'm listening to Doctor Who main themes and incidental music from 1963 right through to Murray Gold's new series music. DOCTOR WHO MUSIC IS GREAT!!! 8-)

Anyone else have any current CD's(or vinyl's, mp3's, ipod tracks, tapes, etc.) to list or talk about?

She also sang well (albeit backing vocals) in a band called "Goodbye Mr Mackenzie"....they were an under-rated late 80s-early 90s band and were fantasitc live.

As for music I'm currently listening to....well I've got just over 1000cds so always seem to have some music on but at the moment I'm reliving my old goth days so getting into The Sisters Of Mercy, Bauhaus, Joy Division and the like :D

Hope to meet a nautical cove or two online to chat about Tom, "Who", etc :-)

I'm currently listening to music composed by ZUN.
A Japanese citizen, he decided to make a series of video games called Touhou. He created every aspect from artwork to music. His music, in turn, has been taken by hundreds of music companies around Japan and remixed. In the matter of a decade, ZUN has basically created his on genre of music. XD
Si-Fy and Fantasy, that is where my heart lies. To Doctor Who and its 18 years of brilliance, still waiting on the 50 yr anniversary!

As usual, I'm into country music, especially Josh Turner, Randy Travis, and Alan Jackson.

Surprisingly enough, I've been listening to alot of Christmas music. I never get tired of the Snow miser song from 'Year without a Santa Claus.'

To counter balance all that good cheer, I listen to Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen.

Diamanda Gallas, Kate Bush, and Scott Walker.
