Series crossovers?

Gareth Thomas said that he wanted to have a Blakes 7/Doctor Who crossover where the two of you met each other passing by (like John Cleese and Eleanor Bron did with you in City of Death) but the BBC execs pooh-poohed the idea, probably because it was funny. Do you recall being asked to appear as the Doctor on other shows (eg Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Goodies) and would you have done it?

Have an enjoyable silly Season,

P.S. I was going to ask "Is it hard (excuse the razz and pun!) doing sexs scenes (as an actor)?" :o but you actually answered that in May 2010 when recalling how Father Ferguson traumatised a nation in "Life and Loves of a She-Devil" -- a hell of a way to break type-casting! [Even the forum doesn't like the posting of the word "sexs" if spelt correctly!]

No, I was never asked.

The John Cleese/Eleanor Bron bit happened because they happened to be in the next door studio.

Happy Christmas from Tom
