Tom in 'Strange'

I found some background for Tom's role in 'Strange' which was asked by Tracy as a question this month (june). Tom appeared in episode six of the BBC series, 'Strange' where he played a blind monk named Father Barnard. Tom's character discovers a locker full of human bones and an ancient tomb with the inscription, Asmoth, written upon it. Asmoth appears to spend his time gnawing upon the bones of it's victims. I guess he (Asmoth) didn't have cable television and nothing better to do?

Finally saw this episode.

It is interesting whom he had appeared with here including series lead Richard Coyle (formerly Coupling created by current Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat), future Primeval star Andrew-Lee Potts and the legendary Ian Richardson not to mention the very Samantha Janus.

Sounds like another winner in the wily world of Tom and his acting career! Question: How did his character know the locker was full of bones if he was blind?

instinct i guess if some one is blind but no where things are if its familer to them they know thats just my guess .its like a blind person who isnt so blind who can know where things are in there own home i would think hope this helps

:D thank you its only because ive worked in a care home where 1 or 2 have got the condition of being blind partly that they can feel round and know where things are
