These questions are for Tom to answer, so please do not be tempted to post a reply to someone else’s question. If you want to make a comment, post it in the Fan Community → About Tom’s Newsletters and Answers to Questions subforum.
Please do your research before asking a question and try not to ask questions which Tom has answered before – either here or in interviews such as the Doctor Who Magazine articles available on this website in the Doctor Who section. If your question is factual, please try googling it first to see if you can find the answer.
Questions about whether Tom will appear at a convention or in a particular programme or film are wasted questions as he cannot talk about any offers in advance, and the moment agreement is reached, he announces the news on his website.
Tom will answer a MAXIMUM OF 15 QUESTIONS PER MONTH.
I hope that this message finds you well, sir?
I am a great reader of autobiographies - particularly those of actors - and I just wonder if you share the same interest?
If so, are/were there any volumes that you especially enjoyed, and - if so - if you would recommend them?
As ever, my appreciation...
P.S. In my question to you last month, I asked about 'Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell'. I went to see the play here in Glasgow, and you were absolutely right: it was hilarious. I enjoyed it so much that I've booked to see it again in Edinburgh!

Dear John Hughes,
I have read a few autobiographies but usually with suspicion. I read my own autobiography a few years ago and didn't believe a word of it. You see AUTObiography is always so one-sided. How do we know all those things happened the way the writer describes them?
PS I'm glad you liked the Jeff Bernard piece. He adored it too, and went to every performance while Peter O' Toole was the star.
