Better LATE than NEVER! Got mine the first week it was out. But then again, you have a buch of neat stuff I don't own.

i've seen some for sale that are signed and have been tempted, but all my books that are signed have been signed in person. i really do love his book and will read it many more times but a signed , first edition, first print is one i shall lust after for quite some time to come, unless i know for certain that it was really, really signed by him -i'm not taking the chance of buying one. The memory of meeting the author and letting them know how much you enjoyed what they had to say cannot be beat.

A dust jacket is the detachable wrap-around cover sometimes included on hardback books.

I haven't been able to find any evidence of the book being released in such a format, however there was a signed limited edition (300) hardback released in 1999 which came with a slip case. I can't find any pictures, I'm afraid.

Mine didn't, and it was bought NEW. (Though it was bought in America.) Have a photo of that slipcover edition, someplace, will see if I can find it.
