Tom Baker, best Doctor ever?

I only got stale bread and water. And I was being trained as a priest at the time so I did a lot of blessing and passing the sacrament around as well when no one else would do it. Got repetitive after awhile. I much would prefer jelly babies and maybe Ginger Pop to go with it, as the Doctor had in The Android Invasion.

and just for you, cloaked, something to get the conversation back to Doctor Who: we all know the scarf is the greatest of the Doctor's fashion accessory: what's everyone second favorite?

My son is a big fan of McCoy's umbrella, but I think I'd go with Davidson's lapel celery.

Um... I liked the frilly shirts Jon Pertwee wore in his day. So that would be my second favorite piece of costuming, after Tom and the mighty scarf!

I've never had jelly babies so I can't rate them properly. But they do sound good!

Pry hon, every job can get tedious and on yer last nerve unless you're really really lucky. For that matter so can life but we go on with business day after day and enjoy what happiness comes along be it a beautiful sunset or a word from a friend.

Why is Tom Bakers Doctor so good? I still can't put it into words. It's more of a feeling really.

I highly recommend jelly babies.
There's a candy shop in my town that imports candy.
My kids dragged me there, looking for pooky, and I was thrilled to discover they also carried jelly babies.
Be warned, they are highly addictive.

It's a japanese snack. Kind of a thin, straw shaped kind of cookie that's been dipped in something, usually chocolate.
My kids learned about them through Japanese anime.

PS. Oh and TB IS The best Dr. Who along with Jon Pertwee. Both utterly defined what the Doctor was all about in their respective stints and tenures.
