I'll not go into specifics here, I'll save that for another thread.
I might be in a minority as it's my favourite Who story of them all.....and I think he went out in a great way by saving the universe

I did watch it in 1981 as he was my hero.....and always will be

It was a very sad moment but I did watch it after Tom left and it had some great moments, Peter Davison and Colin Baker are very under-rated on Who, even Slyvester McCoy puts in a couple of great performances (Curse of Fenric is fantastic).
The Doctor might've regenerated lots of times since Tom but with The Hornet's Nest being a hit with me and how they've brought other Doctors back into stories (including older versions of themselves eg The Two Doctors) they're not killed off when they regenerate.....with "Who" anything is possible.....that's why when it's at it's best it's still THE show to beat.
"Aaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh....me laddie!"
"You damned courtiers to the Queen, you're nothing but lap dogs to a slip of a girl!"
Hope to meet a nautical cove or two online to chat about Tom, "Who", etc
