Danger in the Tardis

Hello Tom,

Hope you are well. Since it's my birthday I was wondering whether you could please help me with this Doctor Who question. I've read that while working on The Seeds of Doom the Tardis prop (which had been used since the shows beginning) collapsed in on top of Elizabeth Sladen which finally called for a new Tardis prop to be made. Do you have any recollections of this incident. Were you, Elizabeth or was any of the production crew aware of the Doctor's Tardis suddenly becoming a safety hazard before filming?

I'd just like to add that I'm really sorry for the loss of Elizabeth Sladen. I would have liked to have met her. As always thank you for taking the time to ask a question on a Doctor Who fan's special occasion.

All the best

I remember Lis so well, and I often collapsed with laughter inside that upturned coffin. I feel her death deeply especially as I had just agreed to do six adventures with her later this year for Big Finish.
