Oh Baker, Baker, Mr. Tom, why did you term have to end.
The first, the second, the third, the fourth, all brilliant and quite witty.
Entertainment was first, the Doctor's smile while he mends,
the whoniverse was safer and much brighter when we had Mr. Baker.
The Fifth, oh dear, Mr. Davidson, oh dear.
Burning off a quarter of the Tardis, Watching poor Adric go down in flames,
and alas the Master too did burn. Not my doctor, I fear.
Handsome and awesome, is true, but not my doctor, I fear.
The sixth, oh goodness me, the anger is just too extreme.
Strangling Perry, never strangle a companion.
A stark turnaround in trial, I really did like that, it was supreme.
But alas, killed by falling over, too much 'Carrot Juice'
The Seventh, so much sterner and perhaps sinister,
Carrying a cane, he was a stronger Doctor.
He started relaying his past, but the show administer
had called an end. Sixteen years to wait.
The Eighth had an amazing total of 85 minutes
and a bunch of books. Can't say too much,
except, why was the Eye of Harmony in the Tardis?
Not until 2005 would Who come back, brand Nu.
The Ninth hates guns? Really, seriously?
Good actor, like the actor, but he looks like Al Bundy.
A good first season, high hopes for me.
A sad goodbye, and a brilliant last line.
The Tenth, do I hate, or do I like? Difficult to say.
Romance with Tyler, too much Harkness and
political points. The Universe is doomed almost every day,
just to be saved by a single switch, or button.
The Eleventh, for me, is most improved.
Lots of grandstanding, never hit a Dalek with a wrench,
and a Space Whale is not equal to all of Britain, I was not moved.
Still Moffat has talent, and Smith is new, good luck to them.
Where did the series go wrong where the first four had so right?
Too many answers for that question. I still thank Baker, Pertwee
Troughton, and Hartnell, they put up a spectacular fight.
18 years of Who I enjoy and shall always remember.
So it's 1 in the morning, I'm a bit tired and my poetry isn't exactly poetic. But yeah, I love old who.
Si-Fy and Fantasy, that is where my heart lies. To Doctor Who and its 18 years of brilliance, still waiting on the 50 yr anniversary!
