It is with great sadness that I've just found out that we've lost our dear Sarah Jane to cancer.
The Doctor: I tell you, Brigadier, there's nothing to worry about! The brontosarus is large and placid!
Harry Sullivan: (to the Brigadier) This the patient, sir?

Yes, I too am most grieved. I hope that K9 is with his mistress on her next adventure.

I just can't believe it. She was only 63, and I had no idea she was ill. She was such a positive part of my childhood.

I'm gutted. She was my favourite companion ever and a genuine Doctor Who legend. And so soon after Nick Courtney too. I'm not liking this year so far at all. Sarah Jane has gone to join the Brigadier. That episode of the Sarah Jane adventures where Nick Courtney appears will be extremely poignant to watch now. RIP Elisabeth, you were the greatest.

Very sad to hear, especially so soon after we lost Nicholas Courtney
