Hornet's Nest

I was wondering what people are making of Tom's return to the role of the Doctor in the audio series 'Hornet's Nest'? I've been really enjoying them - I've just finished listening to the most recent release - The Circus of Doom - and I think it's the best so far. Tom is superb, he's really slipped back into the role like he's never been away, and the stories themselves are wonderfully macabre, quirky and darkly humourous. I can see why Tom liked the scripts, they're full of his sort of morbid sense of humour. I can't wait for the next installment!

I have yet to buy any of these (so many things to buy, so little money) but I'm hearing good things about them, and hopefully before long I will grab myself a copy.

I'm sure we haven't heard the last of Tom in audio book form!

Sounds like they're getting better with each release...precisely want you want, to build up to a big climax. I've got them all ordered and will look forward to part 3 when I receive it. They're excellent to listen to in the evening with the rain beating against your window, a howling wind, you just feel yourself immersed in the story, audio stories really do grip you as much as their tv counterparts, especially as your imagination can sometimes build up pictures no tv screen could produce  :D

The price they are online is great value for money, certainly worth getting if you haven't taken the plunge.

Hope to meet a nautical cove or two online to chat about Tom, "Who", etc :-)

I've got these on my Christmas list but will buy them anyway if nobody else does as I just can't miss new material with Tom as the Doctor.
