I hope that this finds you well, sir?
I wonder if, with the recent ,huge, mega-money jackpot on the Euro Millions game, do you yourself ever play the weekly National Lottery?
If so, do you - like many - stick to the same set of "regular" numbers each week, or are you more partial to the excitement of the unknown with a "lucky dip"?
Also, do you think that lottery funding will one day totally replace the grant to the Arts Council? God forbid...

I don't do the lottery often because it's such a lousy bet. But I give pound coins to various beggars in the Strand, London, and some tell me they blow it on the lottery.
