Please do your research before asking a question and try not to ask questions which Tom has answered before – either here or in interviews such as the Doctor Who Magazine articles available on this website in the Doctor Who section. Questions about whether Tom will appear at a convention or in a particular programme or film are wasted questions as he cannot talk about any offers in advance, and the moment agreement is reached, he will announce the news on his website.
From May 2011, Tom will answer a maximum of 15 questions per month. Questions which do not meet the above criteria will be rejected.

Dear Mr. Baker,
In several of your Doctor Who commentaries, we’ve heard you mention that your trademark hair-do was in fact a wig. However, in episodes like The Seeds of Doom, when you were running, it looked like it was your natural hair. I was curious to know if your comments were in jest or if you were in fact serious? Either way, it’s lovely.

Amanda,
I was jesting. My hair got longer and thicker and more like a wig. I once suggeated that I should have a wig over the top in a struggle reveal how long my hair was!
The suggestion was rejected.
