Right now, I would have to go with Robot.

My personal favorite is "The Brain Of Morbius". Best has to be "Genesis Of The Daleks". Not only for the Baker era but the entire series.

"Genesis of the Daleks" with "The Talons of Weng-Chiang" close behind.

Doctor Who just doesn't get any better.

Tricky question, Tom makes every episode magical, I'm not going to give just one, simply because I can't, but these are my Top 10 (in no particular order).

Pyramids Of Mars
Ark In Space
Brain of Morbius
Android Invasion
Revenge Of The Cybermen
Pirate Planet
Genesis Of The Daleks
Destiny Of The Daleks
Robots Of Death
Talons of Weng Chiang

After I compiled this Top Ten I realised that I do have a soft spot for Pyramids & Ark.

What do you make of Destiny of the Daleks, then? Tom is again rather unique in that he got two onscreen meetings with Davros, whereas everyone else in subsequent series got just one.

Oh yeah!! There were a number of giggly moments in that one. I got a charge out of his initial wardrobe changes, as if he was really worried about what he looked like until he settled on what we're all familiar with. It's an episode I'll want to watch again. And again.

As for a favorite--I can't pick just one, sorry.

Clara, get the "Robot" DVD. It's filled with wonderful goodies including a commentary(with Tom, Lis, Terrance Dicks, and Barry Letts) and a cool documentary called "Are Friends Electric?" which examines Tom's intro as the Doctor and the making of his first story.

Prydonian, I like "Destiny Of The Daleks" but I wish they would have gotten Michael Wisher to play Davros again. I wonder if he was even asked to do so?

Jay,

Michael Wisher was asked to play davros again, not only for Destiny of the Daleks but for at least one more serial in the 1980s, but was unavailable to due so due to theater work, from what I have heard.
