I bet I know what Sue didn't get Tom this year. A gnome for the garden, lol.
Too bad too. There could be a whole gnome family living around the water fall.
At night you could hear them diving in the pool and the young gnomelets would play Marco Gnomo.
Occasionally they would have a fish fry with some sautéd water lettuce.
It wouldn't be all fun and games with them, no. They would be busy maintaining
The garden by suppling plenty of fertilizer. and to keep the population of wild hares from becoming a problem, they would spend hours splitting them. Ah, the life of a garden gnome!

spend the day together, unplug the phone, the TV, and the computer, and just plug into each other. poppy and the cats will be fine for a day. then later, in the afternoon, allow a friendly couple to take you to dinner.
