I was very sad to hear about Mr. Courtney's recent passing. His performances were very memorable--what a truly wonderful character he portrayed. May he rest in peace.

I recently heard of his passing from a friend at school, and had to miss my last lesson of the day because I was crying so much. I have been a fan of Classic WHO for a relatively short time, but I still loved him dearly.
In fact, the very first classic WHO I ever watched was Mawdryn Undead, with two Brigs.
I will always remember him as the man who started my passion for classic WHO.

Long live Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge Stewart.

I end this message with my favourite Brig quote:
"You know, I wish that just once I would meet an alien menace that wasn't immune to bullets".
An apple a day keeps the Doctor away,
But if the Doctor is cute, then bugger the fruit!
