Well, as I said earlier, it's all in one's perspective, isn't it? :)

Take care, Prydonian.

It really is, and as I had a bad experience with it, I feel I can relate to Tom in that manner.

I think what Tom went through was a great tragedy. It seems to have left terrible scars that affect him still. I worry about the damage done and I earnestly hope that he can heal.

I echo the sentiment, MCH. And donnarose, I totally understand what you are saying. And thank you for the keep on smiling comment. It means a lot as I have been daignosed with strep throat and have been sick all day. I had to do a walk-in to the doctor's and I finally got some medicine thank God. But back to topic, I sincerely hope that Tom does not have emotional scars from his days as a monk in training. He certainly did NOT betray God, as he says they said about him in the book.

Sorry to hear about the strep, pyrdonian. :(

From what I've heard from folks in different areas of the US (at least), the strains this year seem particularly nasty.

Hope the antibiotics take effect soon and that you are on the mend very quickly.

Take care!

I have ordered "Who on Earth is Tom Baker." It is due in about a month.
Maybe I'll one day have a chance to meet Tom and have him sign it for me.

Maybe the members of Tom can one day desend on Britain and have some tea and biscuits around a big round table. ;) With Tom And Sue of course ! :D Well, one can dream, eh ?

Thanks donnarose, I am feeling much better than I was, but am still weak and tired. I hope to improve soon.

MCH, the book is well worth it. I read it years ago originally, and it was amusing to say the least. Very entertaining, so you should enjoy it.
