Another one of Dirk's "Heads Up Forum Posters!"

Postby Moderator on February 9th, 2011, 6:16 pm

Dear Members of Tom -

See NEW/Amended Forum Rules & Regs in the

Forum guidelines, rules and announcements

forum entry page.

Due to a rash of spammer phantoms and possible forum disruptors beginning at the end of last year, and continuing into this one, we had added/ammended some of our forum rules. Please know this is to protect you our valued members, to maintain forum integrity at Tom's place, and to help weed out the cyber riff-raff.

Any questions, please feel free, always, to PM me, as my cubicle is always open. Or, comments to this Topic very welcome as your opinions count.

Best,
Dirk :ugeek:

Dear Tracy -

Yes, and the new rules do not really apply to you, or any of our loyal members of Tom.

It is the registered members who, for whatever their reasons are, do not ever post, and those who insist on posting nonsense, and those who are trying to sneak in their personal links, somewhere.

Best,
Dirk :ugeek:

I just had a funny thought. I'm not sure how to say it. It has to do with Dirk's 'heads up'. I thought what if he made a post called 'hit the deck' ! Lol what kind of news would that be about. :?
Ok so maybe it's not that funny. but it was funny at the time I thought it. :D

I have read all the new regulations. Thanks for the 'heads up' Dirk !

Dear MCH -

Will have to keep that in mind for future reference. Around here, one just never knows. 8-) Though I do have a fondness for "duck and cover."

Could we have a dress code please?

It worries me that some posters may be posting in their pajamas, or those crop-top t-shirts.

Dear Graceful Leonard -

A uniform of the day? I like that idea.

I remember my dad talking about a class F uniform from his old army days.

Yes, We could do that!

OK members of Tom, official dress for forum posts ... skivvies and a tie!

Best,
Dirk :ugeek:

Dear Dirk and Leo,

I Think Not Boys! I'll wear what I want when ever I want. ;)
You guys can go ahead and wear spandex superhero costumes for all I care,
But I'd rather not know about it, lol.

A dress code. You boys are too funny! ;)
