Thanks to Tom et al! What a sweet surprise.

I got a special surprise today in the mail. It came on a personally bleak, dreary, crappy day and I want to thank all those who had a "paw" in it, starting with Tom for signing the photo and the other sweet people (you know who you are) who made it possible. It brightened my day, and also my "office" wall! Thank you so much.

Did Tom recently quit signing/sending autographed pictures? I know on his website it says that Tom is unable to sign pictures. I tried to post a suggestion in Guest book section on his site, suggesting that he set up some kind of online store, but sadly, it was edited out of my post. I hope someday he decides to do it, because I live in the USA and it will be next to impossible for me to travel to the UK to attend one of Tom's autograph sessions. I would happily purchase several pictures from him if he ever decides to open an online store. I expect Tom is a very busy man, and I suppose finding the time to set up and run a store, is more than he is able to reasonably do.

You can purchase pictures and other autographed items from The Stamp Centre. There is a link on the Dr Who page if I recall correctly. The items are all authentic. I've got a few myself.

Yes, I looked at their website, I emailed them asking them if I purchased something from them, if they would hold it for me until Tom came in to personally sign it for me, but I was told that they stopped doing that several years ago because they never knew when Tom was coming in, and they were always losing peoples stuff.
I may decide at a later date to buy just a signed picture, but I was really hoping for a personalized autograph from Tom.

Man oh man, to have a personalised photo would be awesome, but I respect the Tomness' current policy on that. Being american too, I don't travel that much, let alone out of country to the UK, but oh well...Gotta keep smiling
