Why not just Tom Baker? I'd have him meet the ol' Brigadier. XD
They could both be downing Gin in Gineva.

It was very cool seeing the Brig on the 'Sarah Jane Adventures'. They need to get him on Doctor Who.

the brig was originally to do the part that mike yates stepped in and did for the paul magrs audio stories, but at the TIME of the original recordings, he was too ill to do them. :(

but now that Our Mister TOM has said HE has consented to do a couple of Big Finish Productions stories, hopefully nicholas courtney will be well enough to join HIM in those.

and too, TOM wants to be in a Sarah Jane adventure. cross my hearts. :D

If he ever appears in the Sarah Jane Adventures, I have quite a script for that. Not that the BBC would ever be interested. :D

I got a signed (by Tom) 'The Seeds Of Doom'' for xmas and looked back 35 years to when Tom and I worked on that show... After watching it I remembered all the laughs we had while filming.

Aitch,

I am looking forward to Meglos next week as well! I can't wait as it was one of my faves all those years ago when I would watch the series on PBS in the 1980s and early 1990s.

The idea of The Master making him look old would be a very plausible explanation, I like that idea.
Even if Tom had a cameo role in the new Dr WHO, I think it would be awesome!

Tom would do wonderful in the new series! I know he has said many times he would like to play the Master which would bring such irony to the character. He would also do well in an extended guest appearance where he turns up to help the current Doctor. So even if he does not play the Doctor again -which in itself would be great to witness-he should be asked back in a suprise role to help further the plot along, it could work!!
