Shada

Hello, Tom.

I am big fan of all your work and wish we could see more of you as the Doctor.

I know that one of the few Doctor Who serials that has never been formally released is Shada, which unfortunately got stopped due to BBC industrial action.

There is talk in fandom that the BBC are trying to release Shada in some form or other in 2011. Also, Doctor Who superfan, Ian Levine is planning to release his own version in August, next year. I believe the latter will feature a professional impersonator (Paul Jones) as the Doctor in scripted parts which were never filmed at the time (due to the strikes).

Will you be involved in either of these projects, as it would be great to see Shada completed?

I hope the project happens, the fans would just adore to see it. So would I. But nowadays I'm mostly an amused observer, amused and happy for you all to have a good time.
