Hello Kevin
I don't watch TV but I read about it. Sherlock Holmes? I was the first to play Holmes AND Moriarty in the same piece. It was a catastrophe. I think of Holmes as an essentially comic figure, utterly ridiculous. But then I think of the Devil as a scream and I often yelp with laughter at the book of Genesis. The Devil as the snake in the grass! I'm thinking of re-writing it, or rather, re-editing it for insomniacs; it really is a hoot. But it is a good story. The dear Old Testament begins with a man and a women in a garden, both naked and the weather just perfect! Naturally, it ends with Revelations. I also played Oscar Wilde and he was a bit of a devil. As I write this I can hear my guardian angel giggling, she knows me so well.
Best wishes from Tom
