Doctor Who: Demon Quest - new Tom Audios!

Postby Toothy Grin on July 12th, 2010, 4:25 pm

Just found out that a new 5 part series of Dr Who audio adventures with Tom are due to be released very soon, following on from last year's successful Hornest Nest series of BBC audio dramas. The details and release dates are:

1: Relics of Time - Released 2 September
2: Demon of Paris - Released 7 October
3: Shard of Ice - Released 4 November
4: Starfall - Released 2 December
5: Sepulchre - Released 2 December

They've been keeping this quiet. Can't wait! More new Dr Who stories with Tom! Roll on September! :D

Does anyone know if Paul Magrs (pronounced MARS) is writing them too?

Best,
Dirk :ugeek:

Dirk! Darling!

Don't you have some sort of an "in" with the boss(es)? Do they never tell you anything? I smell mushroom syndrome going on here. (teasing)

Yes, it is a Paul Magrs series again. We're all waiting in eager anticipation.

Yes, something to look forward to, but judging by this cover art I'm a little confused about who they've got to play Tom Baker...

Dear Jaybee -

Of course I knew. 8-) But wasn't sure I was supposed to talk about it yet. I was "testing the waters" so to speak. But if you fans know all about it anyway, from other places and times; then I know I wasn't the one to "spill the beans," so to speak, again. ;)

Best,
Dirk :ugeek:

You are a devious devil, Dirk.

That's OK. We love you anyway. You're a great mod! Don't change.

The new photos of Tom recording the Demon Quest audios are excellent. He looks like he's really enjoying himself and seems in great health. Samuel West looks a lot like his Dad doesn't he?

Hopefully BBC Audio will eventually release all 5 discs together in a boxset like they did with Hornet's Nest. It will be a cheaper and easier way for me to get them. I like the titles for Demon Quest. They are very Classic series-like. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
