The Magic of Literature

Postby Nebula on April 3rd, 2010, 9:42 am

Hi Tom

It is lovely to be able to talk with you!

My question: We all love to read. One of my own all-time favourite classic authors is Charles Dickens. Who or what inspires you the most in the literary world, and are there any books that you would like to see adapted for the small/or big screen?

Regards

Neb x

Dear Neb,

I prefer to read them than to see them. But I do recommend a book by John Carey, published by Faber and Faber called The Violent Effigy, a wonderful book full of marvellous insights.
