There was an Equinox documentary many years ago called 'Rave New World' which Tom narrated. I've just watched most of it on YouTube. Does anyone on here ever listen to rave music?

I went through a very brief phase of it when it was fashionable in the early nineties. Now I find it unlistenable!

I like classic rock from the 70s and 80s and some new wave from the early to mid 80s.

I'm guessing it most likely came out the punk movement and the hard rock of the late 70's. Guys like the Ramones.

Actually I think what I said on here about Tom recording his own version of The Kinks' 'You Really Got Me' isn't strictly true. Tom didn't actually record the song himself as far as I know, it was recorded by computer technology using his voice. Could someone please ask the moderator for some info to put me right on this please, being as we can't ask Tom any questions just at the moment?
