I'm currently overbooked, actually. It comes in waves, and there's little I can do about it. I might think about some kind of advertising, but I generally get enough job offers. The only problem is that some clients are extremely difficult to work with or even unprofessional. It is also important to spot the ones that won't pay, and politely refuse. So far, I have been paid for everything I've done, but it took some effort on several occasions. A friend of mine was particularly unlucky - he wasn't paid for something that took him a month to do. Those are the risks. But I've also had some really lovely experience with clients. I guess, the conclusion is that clients are people just like any other. (Funny how I even thought it might not be the case. Some kind of professional deformation?
