Don't Fret! There is Still Time....

Please don't fret! There is still time for Steven Moffat to plan to include all the surviving Doctor Whos-or companions- in next year's Anniversary Special.

Their not knowing anything about it doesn't mean they won't be approached in time.

According to Matt Smith, even he does not know yet what the Moff is planning to do. But he has faith he is planning something big.

In 1983, when "The Five Doctors" was being prepared, they did not even get the filming started until early that year, with only some odd months to go before the episode was to debut.

So if that is any indication, there IS still time to get a script together and a cast and make a special worth remembering! ;)

Keep the faith! ;)

It would be nice if they could also include captain Jack Harkness - he's one of the most loyal companions in a way.

I'd say don't fret the news and what anyone says right now. If it's going to happen, and I'm sure something will happen, we'll hear about it. If there's any way for them to get all the doctors involved they most certainly will. It will be fantastic!

Much as I want a big Doctor team up, and would love a scene of Tom's Doctor dealing with a Weeping Angel, I 'm willing to trust Moffatt.

He's given us enough little moments that reassure me that he gets Doctor Who enough to try and do it justice for the 50th.

He better be in it, or there will really be a missed oppurtunity there!
The Moff must surely understand that the series wont do if it just celebrates David Tennant or Matt Smith's eras in the special.

Just think, if Tom does appear as the Doctor again it will be almost 40 years since he first played the part! He won't look anything like he used to do. Maybe they could pretend the Doctor has been aged again like he did in The Lesiure Hive - all he'd need is a long beard!

There are ways around the age issue, bu it is up to the Moff to come up with a feasible storyline to entice Tom with. I hope he does come up with something for Tom and that Tom agrees to do it. I would be proud watching modern Doctor Who-which I've had prior issues with-at such an occurence.
