Fans might like to know that one of Tom's post-Doctor Who series has recently been released on DVD in the US, Selling Hitler.

good clattering tale. excellent historical data in it too. :)

TOM is not in it very much, however  but HE does add to the story, as always. :P

Thanks for the welcome, Tracy. It seems a bit rude to arrive just as dessert is served, though!

I would definately love to see this! Hopefully they will sell it here in Canada.

I recently bought Selling Hitler and finished the first episode yesterday.

Tom was only in the first episode briefly.

Also in it is Peter Capaldi and we should all know what he is doing now something that Tom started doing back in 1974.

Other members of the cast were actors who were guest stars during Tom's time as the Doctor - Trevor Baxter, Gregory de Polnay, Frederick Jaegar and Tony Sibbald.

After appearing in separate scenes in the first episode, Tom and Capaldi have a scene together in episode 2 as discussions were at length on what it says in the series title.

Finished episode 3 and did so on Tom's 80th birthday on January 20 2014.
Episode 3 was the first to feature Roger Lloyd Pack as real life controversial historian David Irving and sadly Lloyd Pack just recently passed away on January 15.

Episode 4:
Oh my Barry Humphries as Rupert Murdoch.
Definitely did not imagine seeing that.
There is one scene in which Tom Baker and Peter Capaldi are sitting next to each other at a meeting. Definitely a Doctor Who fan moment to behold.

Saw the final episode of Selling Hitler.
Well done conclusion although not so well for Heidemann when the hoax was revealed.
Nice to have a scene between Alison Doody, someone who is very good to look at and Tom Baker.
