Tales of Aesop

Postby Forum Moderator on January 15th, 2010, 5:39 pm

Just to let members of the forum know that a PS has been added to Tom’s latest newsletter about the recent issue of a DVD of stories from Aesop's Fables which Tom narrated for the BBC in 1990, featuring very simple, yet expertly controlled puppets, which give life and wonder to these magical tales.

Never before on DVD, the complete series of 13 episodes has been digitally remastered, autographed by Tom and can now be purchased from SciFi Collector. You will find the link in his latest newsletter.

The 13 episodes, each lasting 5 minutes, tell the following tales:

The Tortoise and the Hare
The Lion and the Mouse
The Quack Frog
The Fox and the Goat
Cry Wolf
The Tortoise and the Bird
The Bear and the Travellers
The Miser
The Fox, the Bird and the Cheese
The Prophet
The Town Mouse and the Country House
The Fox, the Wolf and the Sausages
The Hares and the Treasure

Wow, thank you. This is classic stuff! 8-)
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. Douglas Adams.

I recommend them highly. They are adorable. And remember TOM does ALL the voices as well as being the narrator. Primo stuff! 10 out of 10 :D
