My question to you is simple enough. Do you wish, in retrospect, that you had filmed more Who stories with the late Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, than the two you did together before he was written out of the series?

But I often met Nick after the series and we remained good pals and often had unrecorded adventures in The Salisbury and The George and The **** and the BBC club in Gildea Street. And sometimes we would have a drink in those places.
His memorial service was a wonderful occasion, not a seat to be had and not a bad word heard. When he was dying he mistook me for his grandmother. It did not surprise me, people are often reminded of their grandmothers when they meet me.
And at the St Michael's Hospice event a couple of weeks ago several people remarked that I looked rather like their great aunts.
Darling Nick Courtney. It would have been lovely to to have done more work with him.
Work? Fun rather.
