Please do your research before asking a question and try not to ask questions which Tom has answered before – either here or in interviews such as the Doctor Who Magazine articles available on this website in the Doctor Who section. If your question is factual, please try googling it first to see if you can find the answer.
Questions about whether Tom will appear at a convention or in a particular programme or film are wasted questions as he cannot talk about any offers in advance, and the moment agreement is reached, he announces the news on his website.
Tom will answer a MAXIMUM OF 15 QUESTIONS PER MONTH.
I was wondering about your excellent doctor who costume.
The assistants always changed their costumes according to the conditions, but you always wore the full
overcoat, hat and scarf.
Was this not sometimes rather hot in summer shoots and under studio lights ?
ps - thanks for my years behind the sofa ( I was born in 1970 ).

My costume was hot but it was part of me. I nearly said "my character" but you all realised it was me all the time. This was more apparent after Doctor Who when the fans came to see me in the theatre and were relieved I wasn't trying to act.
