Dear Tom,

Now that you have experienced three-score-and-ten years with all of the :? wisdom :P that comes with it, if you could have a few extra years to live again at whatever age you desired, what would you pick?

Is it to be able to run again (as you often quote) or is once around the block enough?

I recently heard an interview of yours where you remarked why the elderly wear such strange expressions. The answer: they're all in pain!

I'd so like to be able to tie my shoe laces without blacking out. It's a small request and never likey to be realised. I am resigned.
