Hi Tom,

Just finished Alexi's auto biography of his early years in Anfield near Everton Valley - a stones throw from Fountains Road.

Having worked with him on the Selling Hitler story I wondered if you had a chance to chat about your common roots and what wonderful talent this 'neck of the woods' sprouted?

Have a good summer...

Bob

Dear Bob,

Selling Hitler was so long ago. I remember making Alan Bennett laugh in one scene and that made me happy. And there was an amazingly beautiful girl called Alison Doody. She was so beautiful that doors opened of their own accord. It was almost impossible to speak to her, people just wanted to look at her and sigh. I wonder what became of her?
