A Poem for Sarah Jane

Postby Prydonian on April 20th, 2011, 8:44 pm

Goodbye, Sarah Jane by Prydonian

She was an explorer in space and time
investigative journalist when at home
adventurer to the cosmos and beyond
with that traveller kown only as the Doctor
her adventures were legendary and remain so today
She was a hero, icon to many children and more
She was loyal, fiercely brave and on top of things
Now she has left us for a new adventure-the great afterlife beyond.
She will forever and always be remembered for her companion status to Doctors many
and for her own earthbound journeys as well
It is with great sorrow and in the spirit of mourning I utter these words-
Goodbye, Sarah Jane.

Well said Pry !

When I first heard of her passing I imagined her stepping to the other side with K9 by her side. K9 asked, "Where do we go now Mistress?" and Sarah replied, "We are going to find the Doctor and the Brigadere."

Thanks for the kind and thoughtful comments, friends. It came from the heart(s). I hope it helps in some small way fans who are currently in mourning for her.
