Clara: Probably for the best, as I also prefer Farscape to new BG. I think we are approaching this stuff from opposite sides of the spectrum.
That's the way it goes.

Cloaked one: Captain Tylor is another good choice. My son's into Gundam, and while I like the designs, never got into the series.

I tried the new Battlestar Galactica but it was mostly an abomination to the original and I chose not to pursue it any further than I did. My father felt much the same, he was a fan of the original series and disappointed by what they did to the basic concept in the reboot.

Farscape I also tried but never was a regular viewer though what I did catch seemed interesting. Its been too long so I dont really remember details anymore.
