how do you like it hot.cold.or just warm

:D ok folks so how have you been with this hot weather do you like it very hot.cool .or just warm. for me this is way to hot all the windows are open .the dog dont know how to get and it also dont suit mum.so how do you get on in the heat i like it just so its warm to slighty cool

Warm or hot?
It's slated to get to 110F here in Arizona this week. It actually gets a bit hotter on my back patio than the official temp so I suspect it will be 112 or so.
I like the heat. If it didn't get stinking hot here there would be 12 million people living here. Luckily the humidity is around 10% so it's not as bad as it seems.

In the 70s or so when I can open up the windows and let the breezes in.

It's also a wonderful time to be outside--sometimes in our area, it's not the heat so much as it is the humidity. I know that's pretty trite, but it's *so* true!

It is the fifth day in a row here with a heat index of 100 deg or more. I definitely don't like it hot. I don't like it too cold either. This winter I shoveled more snow than I can shake a stick at including 4 feet of it piled high in my driveway. I much prefer my weather not too warm and not too cold or as the Goldilocks said in the home of the 3 little bears, somewhere where it "feels just right".

Of course, there is no such perfect place, weather-wise, that is. Depending upon who you believe, we are suffering from either global warming or global cooling. New York City has the possibility of either being flooded by the Atlantic Ocean or being frozen over by tons of ice in a new Ice Age. California, may or may not fall into the Pacific because of earthquakes and the English Channel will (eventually) dry up as the sun melts the earth (of course that is according to end of the world conspiracy theorists and we have a lot of them in America). What a crazy world we live in! I wouldn't miss this show for all the gold in Ft Knox. :lol:

I'm in PA, too, and we had the most refreshing rain today. We also were able to open the windows to let in the fresh air!

"Let the SONshine ..." well, it IS sunday.

but for the other six days of the week ... "Let the sunshine!"

could live in south texas, where our middle son does, even with out their conditioned air!

There is a saying in the NE (at least around the metro areas around DC/Baltimore) that "It's not so much the heat, as it is the humidity!"

I don't think the heat would be nearly as bad if it weren't for the humidity as well. Sometimes it does feel like a rainforest and makes breathing difficult.

Add all the metro pollution and such and it becomes a real mess, especially with the young, the elderly, and those with respiratory problems.

Saturday was kind of 'eh' but Sunday was nice. Of course, it's warming up again today but the afternoon thunderstorms should cool it off a bit.

still, i do know what you are saying, donnarose. i am a retired CNA, and know all about respiratory problems in 'allsorts o peples'. i was just speaking, personal preferences.

i mean, if eveyone in the world was like me -- there would be:

no coffee industy, no liquor industry, no gambling industry, no tobacco industry, no dope industry, no porno industry, and NO air conditioners! :lol:
