What new DVD's have you bought?

Postby Marcello Cristiano on March 2nd, 2010, 6:43 pm

Here's a list of DVD's I have purchased recently:

Doctor Who-Survival
Doctor Who-Ghostlight
Doctor Who-The Curse Of Fenric
Doctor Who-Battlefield
Doctor Who-Delta and the Bannermen
Doctor Who-Remembrance of the Daleks(Regular Edition)
Doctor Who-Remembrance of the Daleks(Special Edtion)

The special features of the Sylvester McCoy DVD's are awesome!!!

As you can tell I have a special fondness for Sylvester McCoy. Besides TOM, he's one of my favorites. I love Sophie Aldred too!

Also I bought:

Life On Mars (Series 1)
Life On Mars (Series 2)

JOHN SIMM RULES!!!!!

Anyone else have any new DVD's purchased to talk about?

Nothing Whovian, I'm afraid, but following their success at the recent BAFTA awards, I have recently purchased both The Hurt Locker and Up on DVD.

Am looking forward to watching both. :)
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. Douglas Adams.

Just managed to get my hands on a cheap copy of The Tomb of the Cybermen - been after it for ages but it was always really pricey.
Also got Coraline - bizarre, creepy and clever. Like a kid's nightmare.

I've just bought the complete series of Sapphire and Steel for the princly sum of £11.97. Bargain! :P

I'm afraid Doctor Who is going to have to take a back seat for a while as I plough my way through the six discs.

I've never seen the show before, but I've heard good things about it, so I'm looking forward to some late nights with the lights turned off!

The IT crowd series 1. That had me in stitches... it appealed to the ex computer tech within me, and I am a mighty Boosh fan also so having 2 of the best actors in it from that also helped. It's just so funny and silly. I will have to get series 2.

Yesterday Planted of Evil arrived and I though it was awsome. I loved the set, the lighting, the story.

I was hoping Shada would arrive today but alas ... I still wait.

The last couple we've gotten have been "Midsomer Murders". Those have been our nightly viewing now for a few months...since before Christmas time.

Just got the DVD set of the last David Tennant specials.
I miss him already.
Forget giving Matt Smith another cute girl companion, I want Wilfred Mott to be the new companion! He was great in 'End of Time'.

The Original Clash of the Titans. One of my all time favorite cheesy movies.

My son got Stargate Season one and Buffy seasons 2-4, but he let's me watch them, so they count.

I agree. Bernard Cribbins was brilliant in "The End of Time" Parts 1 & 2, tch. He made me cry a lot. It was so emotional.
